You've always wondered how the mid-season actually works here at Sonnblick....

Sun, beach and sea - preferably in the Maldives. No phone, no emails and then tanned and totally relaxed off home to start the summer season....

Well, it sounds good, but it's not.

Not only because we have a building site in the house this year - everyone who has a house knows that there is ALWAYS really ALWAYS something to do in such a "place".

With the closure of the hotel, the real work begins. A lot had to be prepared, removed and rearranged for the reconstruction work. Before the demolition work could begin. The construction work was then largely initiated and is progressing quite well. Apart from a few minor problems such as drilled pipes and delivery bottlenecks for various materials, we can't complain. We are confident that everything will be finished on time and are looking forward to the new premises, which will invite you to experience many moments of pleasure with us.

In addition to all the hardware, it's also the software that gets down to the nitty-gritty.

Our marketing team's heads are spinning because firstly the mountain summer is coming up, which promises our guests many "innovations" and secondly, after the winter is before the winter and this season's time is already fully planned.

New printed materials, new programmes, even more services for our guests, experiences and magic moments that can be reserved in advance, new inclusive services and the new Sonnblick enjoyment extras - and that's not all....

We are investing in even more comfort, in even more service, in even more sustainability and above all in even more quality. As in almost all industries, we have had to raise our prices, but at the same time we are also raising our services a notch higher.

Of course, you'll have to tell us how all the innovations are received. We are counting on your opinion, which you can best form on site, during a time out with us at Sonnblick. We are looking forward to a joint, enjoyable and eventful Pitztal mountain summer 2022, with us on the roof of Tyrol.

PS: We do relax despite all the fuss. We hike, we bike, we enjoy the Pitztal when it awakens from its winter sleep. We enjoy the time with Michelle, Jonathan and especially with our sunshine, little Milian. We take short trips when time allows and then, yes, we do go to the seaside and enjoy a few days far away from the stress of construction...
