Sonnblick is a four-star hotel in the Pitztal valley and your home from home for carefree holidays. Carefully renovated & modernised in recent years, today we offer four-star comfort in the middle of the wonderful nature of the Pitztal.
We live our hotel motto Ursprung und Heimat (roots and home) by not reinventing the old traditions, values and knowledge passed on to us by our parents, but by developing them further. Together with our team, we try to delight our guests anew every day.
Formal or informal?
“Above 1,000 metres there is no formal ‘Sie’.”
– as we say here in the PitztalHospitality is our finest tradition. And friends use the informal “Du” with each other – especially here in the Pitztal. On our German pages we therefore address our guests with “Du”, which may surprise some – so we are happy to explain why.
Here in Plangeross, at 1,616 metres above sea level, the informal “Du” comes more easily. We want to offer it to our guests with all due respect – simply because we do not see you as guests, but as people who spend the most precious time of their year with us in Plangeross.
In the end, the “Du” is a gesture that says: “A warm welcome – we are truly glad you are here.”

In the morning, a generous breakfast buffet awaits you with everything you need for a good start to the day. In the evening we serve a multi-course gourmet menu with traditional specialities and dishes from international cuisine – ideally paired with a good glass of wine from our cellar.

For us, the four stars are not just any symbols. Above all, they stand for quality and appreciation.
We have always lived this appreciation – and we really try to pass it on. You will look in vain for cheap deals here, because we make no compromises on quality. Everything we wish for on holiday ourselves, we want to offer our guests too – at a fair price, of course.
