Who we are

Grown with care, with plenty of cosiness

Behind our hotel stands our family. Grown with care, with a family atmosphere, alpine elegance and plenty of cosiness.

Our family has run the hotel with heart and soul for three generations. We always do our best to spoil our guests as warmly as possible and live the well-known Tyrolean hospitality day after day.

We are the owners Alexandra and Willi, junior manager Michelle with her partner Jonathan, our little ray of sunshine Milian, the youngest Lynnea and the senior owners Maria and Hanspeter.

Alexandra & Willi

Every house needs a good soul, and at Sonnblick that is clearly Alexandra. Besides managing the service in the hotel, she works in and around the house every day. It is above all the many small details, the lovingly arranged decorations, the respectful way of working with all staff and, not least, personal contact with guests that make Alexandra blossom.

Willi puts his skills and knowledge to work at reception and at the bar with passion and enthusiasm. He takes particular care of the hotel’s marketing and accounting.

Alexandra and Willi share a love of the mountains, of hiking and climbing, and of skiing.

The next generation

Michelle & Jonathan with Milian & Lynnea

Michelle attended the tourism school in Zell am Ziller, where she took her school-leaving and diploma exams. In the hotel she looks after reception and the back office.

Since October 2021, besides her partner Jonathan, there has been “another man” in her life: Milian is the family’s little ray of sunshine. Full of energy and drive, he turns every day into a new adventure. In March 2024 female reinforcement arrived: the youngest, Lynnea, enchants everyone with her sweet smile. Together with her brother, she keeps everyone on their toes and brings lots of joy to the house.

Jonathan is not only the man at Michelle’s side but also the hotel’s jack of all trades. He has been fully involved in the business since 2021. Whether planning and carrying out building work, building services, service or bar duty – Jonny is always there.

The senior owners

Maria & Hanspeter

– with experience and good cheer

The seniors Maria and Hanspeter come from a generation that simply cannot stop working. This is more than valuable for the business, as they still lend a hand behind the scenes wherever they are needed.

They enrich the whole team with their experience and their cheerful nature.

Our Sonnblick team of mostly local and also international professionals helps us keep the hotel running every day. Sometimes it is hard to believe that so many different characters can work together in one place – we are convinced that each and every one of them is a driving force that keeps the whole “Sonnblick” going.
