Our restaurant is located in St. Leonhard in the Pitztal valley. The restaurant is located in the district Plangeross directly on the Pitztaler country road.

Continuously warm cuisine from 14:30 - 21:00
Bar operation until approx. 23:00.
Closed on Tuesdays

Every day delicacies
Have you ever tried a "pit hunt"? No? Then it's high time you did. In our rustic, cosy restaurant you will not only find the classics from the Tyrolean and Austrian cuisine on the menu, but also numerous smartly created dishes by Chef Stefanwhich are just waiting to be tasted. Quality and careful handling of all raw products are our top priority.
HISTORY
A special restaurant in the Pitztal
There were and there still are mines in Tyrol and all over Austria. Most of them are now either closed or have been converted into show tunnels.
Our grandfather Peter Rainer worked for 27 years under the most difficult conditions in the mine "Schneeberg" - Ridnauntal. With this work he fed his family and created an existence for himself and his descendants. In the meantime, this mine has also been converted into a mining museum with a show gallery.
We were thus able to see for ourselves how arduous the working conditions were at that time. Nevertheless, such a mine has its own fascination. Life underground...
Therefore, the idea arose to design our restaurant in the style of an old mine. It was not easy, but we hope that we have succeeded well and you feel comfortable with us.
